My Crappy Stats Led to a $10K Day

Really speak to you and I wanna rewrite a couple of things. I wanna remodel a few things in terms of how we are thinking through that lens, because quite honestly, I've got so much to share with you. I've just come off the back of a wait list only strategy for my brand new daily sales mini mind, which I've called the Daily Sales Accelerator.

I was all ready to go on Friday. I had some buildup towards the wait list, and I just wanna share with you why crappy statistics can still make you so rich and abundant and filled with overflow, and have you attract some of your best dream clients your way. But I'm just gonna go ahead and call out the elephant in the room and just call it for what it is.

This launch, this little wait list launch that I did was a very hot mess. I actually was quite embarrassed throughout the weekend with some of the things and little fuckups that happened. And at the same time, here we are on a Monday afternoon and I'm reflecting on just like a day or two ago and just laughing about it already, but the data was very average.

There was a big tech glitchy mess in the middle of it, and yet. Oh my gosh, I'm so grateful to say this. 10,000 US dollars came in in 24 hours. So let's talk about this. If you are new to the Flow State Business Podcast. My name is Ruby Lee. I've hosted this podcast for almost six years, and I've documented every single bit of growing my business.

I'm now seven years into business only, just. And, uh, yeah, binge on all the episodes. Go back to the very first one. A lot of people do that. The podcast has gone through quite a few different names, so if you go back to episode one, you'll hear me saying, welcome to the Own Your Hustle podcast. And literally a testament of how I've gone from hustle into flow state.

I don't know how much more you know of a testimonial you need there around my own personal journey, but. It has definitely been one, and I think throughout the years I've just become more and more open to sharing the things that aren't so glamorous and aren't so glitzy. Even though at the start I really thought I could only really share the highlights reel in order to feel like an authority or an order for people to wanna work with me because, oh my gosh, who dare work with a coach who you know, has all of these crazy things happen in the background and it looks unprofessional and whatnot.

But what do you know? At least for me anyway, I've attracted so many dream clients just by sharing the real shit, I should say, sharing the real shit show behind the scenes. So, hello. Um, today we're gonna be talking about the boring stats, uh, the non-viral content. Fun fact about me. Maybe not so fun when I was really caring about this, but I've actually never gone viral ever.

My business ever, ever. So many of my clients have gone viral with their content or viral with their personal brand. I just haven't experienced that, and I used to all get tied up in knots about that. Now I'm just like, oh, I'm just the person that's not yet gone viral. I'm very open to that. That would be cool.

But I'm also the gal today sitting in front of you, running a multiple seven figure business and telling you right now that I had a 27 person wait list. A 27 person wait list on the weekend. So whilst I have the numbers on social media to a certain extent, like 40 K on LinkedIn and 19 K on Instagram, 27 people joined my wait list for the daily sales accelerator.

And I wanna discuss what that used to feel like for me. And I can just say that right now I used to see those numbers and can it I'd, can the offer. I would be too afraid to put it out there. I'd tell myself that was absolutely terrible that it wasn't industry standard, that it was obviously not wanted.

But I want to also share with you why I went ahead with it and why it ended up making me 10 K in 24 hours. I also, by the way, this is kind of funny and probably not like the best segue into all of this, but when I opened up my wait list on Friday morning at 9:00 AM I sent out my beautifully. Four sentence written email or something like that, saying, wait list is open, and here's a link.

And then it went to the sales page. And the sales page did not have a checkout link attached to it. So much. So one of my CL now clients who was like, Hey, I really wanna join this. I can't find a way to pay. You had to message me. Oh my gosh, thank you so much, Sylvia, and tell me that she couldn't pay for it.

So, you know, if someone running a multiple million dollar business for seven years, this sort of shit still happens. And. The tech glitches, whether it be human error or whatever it is, mercury retrograde, it still happens. Moments like that can still lead to sold out offers and daily sales, an actual piece in your business.

Okay, so let's really get to the crux of it because this is the episode I really wished existed three years ago when I was super, super knee deep in. Obsessing over my KPIs and my spreadsheets and crying over email open rates. Roughly about five years ago, I joined a mastermind and the a host of the mastermind, the coach, was very driven by numbers and data, and it made me a little data crazy, and I had to kind of rewire a lot of things after that experience.

And not to say it was bad 'cause it was really cool to kind of learn about industry averages. But you know, subconsciously I was always telling myself, if I'm not at that level yet, then I should not be doing business or I won't be as successful as them, or that, you know, I will not be experiencing the results that I want to.

And I always had these like. Numbers in mind, like 30% here and 70% there, and 2% over here. And anyhow, I, I really have had a lot of deconditioning around that. So if you are in that space right now, then let's chat. I mean, it's, this sort of thing may or may not really be, you know, uh, what's it called? Like relevant for you or, you know, is as resonating as much.

But when it does, I promise you, I think you're gonna hear what. Listen to what I really have to say, and your soul is gonna hear what it needs to hear, just to give your nervous system more of a rest and more of a break. So as I mentioned earlier this weekend, I made $10,000 in 24 hours from a wait list of 27 people.

And again, you heard that right? Not 2,700, not 270. I actually told my inner circle on Thursday night before I opened the doors on the Friday. I had like 70 or 80 people on the wait list. Uh, no girlfriend. You were looking at the wrong column. That was the amount of visitors I had. To the page. So at the time anyway, we landed on 127 visitors in total for the wait list strategy.

So anyway, in saying so, that was so funny 'cause I need to go back and tell them now like, yeah, 175 people landed on the wait list page. There you go. So I did add another a hundred in that day to get people into the wait list, which was very cool. Anyhow, 175 people. Landed on the wait list. Page 27, people joined the list.

So I'm gonna pause there as to why there was such a kind of low conversion, so to speak, from the wait list to the joined list. And that's because I had transparent pricing. I. I told everybody how much the offer for the mini mind was going to be, and everybody could see that. And I made a very strong note upfront to say, if you are not able to pay for this, do not jump on the wait list.

And I was also very clear with another factor that the wait list price was pay in full only. So you might've seen this also. And so I was only really wanting to attract people who were able to pay 9, 9, 7, pay in full and be on that list and be ready. So we landed at 27. Now 10 of them bought the offer. So that's a 37% conversion from wait list to sale.

Now these numbers, I mean, that last number that I've just read out is pretty cool. 37%, I'll take that. These numbers aren't wild. They're really, really below average and they're really not sexy and they're not great. But I wanna share this because this is what happens. When you build a business for daily sales, and I'll, I'll link back to this, like my entire journey since December 20th, 2024 when I made my very first passive income sale of $9.

Why that one move of creating a daily sales business of lots of little like $7 sales, $9 sales, $17 sales, and then popping off all day has helped me to make this kind of money in such a short period of time. Without relying on really big, exhausting launches, and I know a ton of you are really going to feel that quite intrinsically of either you've never launched before, but you're scared of the damn thing because it seems like such a massive beast to move.

Or a lot of you are gonna be thinking, oh my God, like I'm not the only one, thank goodness. And my numbers are all so low. And this is hopefully gonna just spark some inspiration around the fact that you are likely putting so much belief and so much weight behind it, needing those numbers to be massive and huge, when in fact you can have 27 people on a wait list and make 10 k, right?

So behind this I also wanna talk about the activity that happened on social media. You know, like I literally have named my business flow state business, which means least effort, highest results, precise execution without having to do more. So I actually didn't even do that much on socials or promoting the wait list as a whole in order to attract 10 K my way.

So this is how it looked. I shared the offer twice on social media, so twice being on the feed post. And the Instagram stories feature. That's it. I chose not to share it on LinkedIn because I've said this before. My LinkedIn audience are just not ready for this yet. They are very early on pre-revenue entrepreneurs who are still in the golden handcuffs of their day-to-day jobs that if I were to say jump into a daily sales accelerator where we're talking about funnels and emails, they would freak the fuck out.

This is really meant for my Instagram audience. Wait. My IG people are already building a business and creating a personal brand. Same with you guys on the podcast. I know some of you overlap. Some of you only listen to the podcast, but you guys and Instagram peeps, this resonates with you LinkedIn too early on.

And if they, you know, kind of crosspollinate and they find me on other platforms at that point, I also know it's a validation point of like, they're ready to grow their business and they're, they're coming out of LinkedIn land and they're moving into more of their personal branding space, so. Twice on social media.

I also sent two emails to my list of 6,500. Again, that might surprise some of you. I had a list of over 10 K and I ended up cleaning all of that out, so you know, just 6,500 people receive my emails. And that is how it looks, right? Like also, I said this to my inner circle on Thursday morning when we had our call saying In 24 hours the wait list is going to be opening.

And I hadn't even yet created my wait list Paige in Kartra. I am so last minute. I've tried to change that habit for years, but I think I've just come to the conclusion that my energy loves that sort of pressure. I have been like that since year 11 and 12. I did something in Victoria called VCE where you get your score for university, and I literally was a last minute assignment person.

When I got to university and I had group work, my group was shitting themselves because my component of the group work didn't come in until like hours before we submitted it. I'm so sorry to my university group. Like that sucks. I would've hated it if I had a member like that, but that's me. Now. I create pages like literally minutes before I launched.

Opened up the wait list to public and having it sent out to my whole list anyway, um, it's no wonder I forgot to pop the checkout link in, in the sales page. So there you go. You know, lessons are being learned and forgotten and the pattern repeats itself. What can I say? Anyhow, it was great. We love a really good self-sabotage moment.

We call that like light level self-sabotage, don't, I don't know, maybe, but somehow in true. Flow. First fashion. It worked and it worked because I really held the energy of, of course it's gonna work. I. Of course, I'm meant to launch this mini mind. Of course, people are gonna wanna learn how I create daily sales.

And not to mention, just even like about a month ago now, I held a coaching group day and that coaching group day was so successful. The results of the people who were through coaching group day was unbelievable. People are messaging me now saying, love ManyChat. Started making my first sales. It's so easy.

I can't believe I hadn't done that before that. Now I'm like. Going so big with my thinking on this that I'm like, I'm gonna just coach 20 people on making daily sales until they make daily sales. So you heard that, right? I'm not gonna be like, oh, this is only like a four week container. My assumption is that it's gonna take you six months to really get into the daily sales rhythm and flow, which is why I'm committing to being in the daily sales accelerator until the end of the year.

And. Beyond that, like it's an open-ended thing, any future launches. But I'm just gonna be on calls every two weeks. Super chill, sharing what's going on behind my business, coaching you guys in hot seating, you guys on how to create it in your business. That's a vibe, right? So it's super easy. That's the entire offer.

I'm on calls every two weeks for those of you who wanna join, and it's gonna be awesome because the whole energy of this group is about daily sales acceleration and getting excellent with sales. So, anyhow. I've been leaning very hard into the assumed state lately. Last episode, I talked about how to just manifest anything that you want in life and business.

One of my biggest, biggest influences of my manifestation period is Neville Godard, and if you don't know who Neville Godard is, go to YouTube and go and find some of his stuff. Nowadays. A lot of the Neville Godard stuff is ai, but I don't mind it. It's actually, it's fine, like his teachings are there and it.

Is meant to iterate with every generation, so just listen to it. It's gonna rewire a lot of your neural pathways, but I fully, because of this muscle that I now have around manifestation, I know that I am meant to put this offer out there without a doubt. This whole energy of, of course, people are gonna sign up even after the cart closes.

That happens to me all the time. In fact, I just had a brand new Inner Circle client sign up two, three months after I've closed the cart for Inner Circle, and she just messaged me outta the blue and said, Rube, like I was on your coaching group day, I wanna join Inner Circle. Of course that happens, of course, like of course, private clients come to me and my private client rate is.

Really, really high because I wanna concentrate on building out my low ticket model that if I'm gonna focus my attention on one person as opposed to the masses, it's gotta be a match. So of course that happens. Now, of course, I'm thinking about the daily sales accelerator. We now have 10 people in there.

I want another 10. I think that'll be a vibe. And of course I'm gonna get that 20 I I know it. Why else would I have had that number in mind? Like when you think about launching? You've got your number in mind. Do you know that that's not a mistake, that that's actually the number that you are meant to be serving and helping?

And the only thing that stands in the way of you achieving that number is not knowing how to bring on the assumed state, meaning that you assume that's already happened. And it's things like, of course, daily sales are normal for me. That is what I wanna pass to you today. This whole conversation is about the power of staying in flow when everything else around you screams.

This shouldn't be working. Like even with the numbers, right? The industry standard. I fucking hate that term by the way, because we, by the way, anyone listening to this, you and I, we are anything but standard. Mm-hmm. Can I get like some clicks in the air and some nods like. I am anything but standard who wants to be the standard model?

Okay. We've seen the Tesla standard model. It's not good looking. I'm sorry if you own one. We want like the sexy, upgraded models and that's what we are. We've spent so much time working on ourselves, we've spent so much time working on our mind, on our spirit, on our energy. So if the industry is telling you that you know, a 20% email open rate is good then, and you are under that.

Then is that you believing that you are meant to have everything that you ever want to have? Or are you linked to that number? It's like, that's not good, and therefore I shouldn't send any more emails ever, or I can't get to a 20% open rate, and therefore I need to spend a ton of money on a super expensive copywriter to get that email rate up.

And then in exchange for that, what happens is it doesn't sound like you whatsoever. Now my last email, right, the one that I sent to that wait list of 27 people. It had an 89% open rate. I'm very proud of this statistic because once again, people joined because they knew what they were buying. I had transparent pricing and they came ready to buy.

I also write, like read somewhere that you know, you can expect a click rate of 2.5%. I actually have a click rate, at least for this campaign of 59.3%. That is exciting and it's, I'm very proud of that. But again, there's stuff that I've talked about where 27 people on the list, that's sort of not exciting.

That's not cool. But you know what? If I had listened to what industry standard numbers were, I don't think that I would've been launching this. I don't think that I would be, at least at this point now already serving 10 people and 10 more people are coming in. And by next week I'll update you guys on that and I'll probably have more than 20 people.

So. The numbers is just there as an indicator of what is a reflection from the inside out, right? Like so whatever your belief system is in anything, by the way, which is like if we wanna go bigger than a launch, the numbers that you have around your bank account, that's a reflection of the inside out.

There's a lot of you that are very financially secure. Because you believe that to be true for you, and there's others of you who are not living paycheck to paycheck, and that's a reflection from your belief system out. The good news is, is that you can change that and you can change that very quickly.

You can change that by understanding brain science flow, state energy work, belief work, listening to Neville Goddard and Abraham Hicks, reading books about money, creating realities for yourself, changing the people that you hang around like. You know what? The people that you hang around, if they are just downers and they are just feeding you lies and they're feeding you standard people shit that you just do not wanna buy into anymore, then elevate.

You can elevate your friendship groups, you can elevate your coaching groups, you can elevate your, you know, even like to a point family members that just operate from that standard operating system. We love them. We thank them for being in our lives, but. You know what? You have the ability to change that, and you can, you know, so anyhow, if you are sitting there with a 38 person Instagram following and no likes on a post, I want you to know that it doesn't mean anything about your worth.

It doesn't mean anything about the work that you're meant to be putting out there. What really matters in this case is finding your energy and finding your flow pathway. Okay, and this is actually what I wanna teach you inside of DSC, the Daily Sales Accelerator. Yes. I really wanna help you make daily sales so that you can start to believe in your work more and more every day, because cashflow is the lifeblood of your business, and I'm telling you like a $7 and $9 sale every single day. Is gonna do more for you than you realize. It's not about, you know, undermining your work, but it's about leading people to the waters where they can go deeper with you.

10 K in 24 hours is no joke. It is so beautiful, like out of thin air. I've plucked that out of my storehouse, but it's happened because people have seen me create daily trust every day through paid offers. So if this is. This is for you. You know, come and join. Okay? So I know that so many of you are gonna come to me saying roofs, my numbers aren't that impressive. And by the way, it's not just like, you know, social media numbers. A lot of people I've worked with who have big numbers on the outside have really terrible numbers on the inside. I don't care. As I say, I don't care about you, it's just that I don't care about the obsession with industry averages because the truth is nobody actually even knows what's standard.

Ding, ding, ding. And I'll tell you why. Because people are not transparent. They make up conversion rates, they tweak their numbers to make things sound better. I've, there's a handful of people that I know that are really, really showing what's going on behind the scenes. And you can see their dashboards and you can see their data.

And they really, you know, these industry standard numbers are very outdated. They leave you wondering also what's wrong with you. And here's what's wrong with that. It keeps you frozen. It keeps so many people that I've worked with. I've worked with hundreds and hundreds of people one-to-one. Now I see it.

It keeps them in perfectionism in second guessing. And you know, as we're talking about launches and just like, even if it's not the L word take out launch, and it's just advising people or informing people what you've got going on, it keeps you in this limbo. I know that I'm meant to be this example of what it looks like when you stop chasing.

Really impressive numbers or really impressive virality, and you can start trusting what's true to you, and that is making an impact on the people that you're here to serve. If you don't know what your massively transformative vision is, which I know mine like the back of my hand, I. I'm here to advance the consciousness of flow state amongst entrepreneurs, and that means making it easy for you, helping you see the simple way of doing things, understanding effortlessness, understanding that effort does not equal success.

So all these things, whilst I know I'm meant to teach that I also have to live that and be that and embody that. And you can make big numbers and big money from very boring statistics. I saw this really awesome quote the other day, that receptivity is that understanding like what you can receive and receiving, not just from your physical world, but receiving energetically, receiving ideas, receiving creativity.

Receptivity is forgotten in the world of performance driven selling, and isn't that the truth? Three years ago when I was knee deep in performance driven selling statistics, I really lost touch with my spiritual side. I really forgot what it was like to beam in an aura of light work and to just have people show up at your doorstep.

Because I was so stuck on these percentages, that kept me feeling like I had to keep going and going and going. My calendar was back to back. I was earning great money, but I am now doing way less as well. And you know, some people will say, oh, it's because you've been in business longer. Your brand has grown.

I've known too many people who have been in business now for way longer than me, and their brand has shrunk because they're too focused on performance driven selling, that it's dimmed their aura and has dimmed their light and it's fucked up their belief system, their nervous system is shot to bits and they disappear.

They're gone. There's three coaches that I used to really follow a lot, you know, five years ago. I can't find 'em on the internet anymore. It's absolutely crazy. They're gone. So I wanna teach you how I've done it with so much flow. If you wanna learn $7 PDFs, then you know, upselling and bringing people in, you know, to something that's just a vibe.

You might wanna expand out your membership or you might actually wanna bring people into your retreats or high level masterminds. But you don't wanna do that like webinar funnel model free challenges mastermind thing, and worry about show up rates and things like that, then this is gonna be a very different rhythm for you.

And having someone there to support you for as long as it takes. When you join DAC, you join and you join for life. So for as long as it takes, I promise you, you're going to feel like you don't need a glamorous funnel and you rely more on your flow state. That's just, that's gonna be a huge win. It's gonna be a huge win for me and my purpose and my massively transformative vision if part of that imparts into your belief system.

But it's also gonna be a huge win for your business. So if you take one thing away from today, let it be this. Your numbers do not need to be sexy to bring in overflow. You get to hold the energy of, of course it works even before the evidence ever shows up. We'll talk about this a lot inside of DSE, and you get to lead with trust.

You get to build a business that feels peaceful and relaxing. That 10 K that I made over the weekend, over 24 hours was the most relaxing money I've ever made. So if you're able to take a deep breath and close your eyes, hand on your sacral, right just above your belly button. Okay. Say this after me. I create overflow from ease and simplicity, and I speak ease and simplicity over my business today.

I sell with ease. I attract with ease, and I trust that what is meant for me has already found me. Take a deep breath in. Ah, big relaxing.
